Goettl Once Again Comes To The Rescue Of Las Vegas Residents

The Goettl Air Conditioning and plumbing company has always been respected for the high level of customer service achieved by the company as they have sought to establish a growing level of success since returning to the state of Nevada in 2014. An impressive aspect of the work completed by Goettl has always been the role the company plays within the community, which has recently included provided a new HVAC unit and plumbing work for a struggling family free of charge.

The Stephenson family in Las Vegas have had a hard few years living without a working toilet or any form of central HVAC unit to make life comfortable for the teenage children living in the home. Goettl took the chance to partner with the Triple5Teens charitable group to complete important plumbing work and install a new HVAC system that will have a major impact on a family who were living their lives in a single room within their home. Michael Gamst, Goettl Air Conditioning manager explained the new HVAC system was part of a new type of technology installed for the Stephenson family that would heat specific rooms through a series of thermostats that he believed would halve the monthly utility bills of the family.

Goettl is always looking to remain at the forefront of the latest technologies in the HVAC industry, which are then recommended to customers in ways that will lower energy usage on a regular basis. The brand offers customers the latest technologies that can be repaired and maintained by Goettl technicians on a regular basis.

The Goettl brand was established in 1939 and has gone on to become one of the most respected and historic in the U.S. Since Ken Goodrich took control of the company a number of scholarships have been established at the College of Southern Nevada in a bid to make sure the next generation of HVAC technicians employed by Goettl are locally trained.

Moore AC to join the Goettl family

Goettl AC has acquired Moore AC, so they are able to add the 300 plus years of experience that Moore AC has. Ken Goodrich is excited about the acquisition of Moore AC, saying it will allow them to continue to bring quality air conditioning services to Las Vegas. With this new acquisition of Moore, they are continuing to become the central provider of air conditioning services in Las Vegas. They are planning to grow 50% in 2017 with an additional 100 employees.

Goodrich wants to ensure that he finds the most qualified and educated talent, so he is sourcing them through the College of Southern Nevada air condition technology program. Goodrich created an endowment for veterans to receive their education and a starting kit for tools. Bill Moore, president of Moore AC, said they look forward to working with Goettl in their continued effort to bring top quality cooling services to Las Vegas area.

Goodrich was excited and honored to acquire Goettl AC. He remembers the late night calls, holding the flashlight for his father on late night calls. He wanted to keep that same spirit of Goettl with making sure to helps customers at any time day or night. Goettl AC is a provider of cooling services in the Las Vegas area since 1939. They left in 2007, but came back in 2013 when Goodrich brought them back to the area.

Angie’s List Reviews Show Goettl Are Back To Their Best

Goettl Air: Giving Back To The Community

Recently, I came across an online article on The Las Vegas It was a heart-warming story about how some home improvement specialists united to help a senior citizen in need. When 94- year-old Jean Jackson’s air conditioning went out during the scorching summer heat of Las Vegas, she knew that her life was in danger, says the article.

Goettl Air Conditioning and The Sunny Plumber: Good Deed Brings Cool Relief

I read that Jackson’s little window units were too old to be fixed. She has lived in the same trailer for over 30 years. If she were to get new air conditioners, her trailer would have to be rewired. That is almost impossible to pay for since she lives on a meager Social Security income, says the article.

The article talks about how dangerous the summer heat can be in Los Vegas. It can be especially difficult for the elderly. I read the quote from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that talked about younger people having the ability to brave the heat better than older ones. Seniors often have medical conditions that exacerbate the situation, says the article.

This is not the first time that Jackson has experienced problems with the heat. According to the article, she has been hospitalized for heatstroke when her air conditioning went out in the past. Jackson wanted to live in her own home and did not want to go into a nursing home.

Fortunately, Goettl Air Conditioning and Sunny Plumber stepped in to help. Owner Ken Goodrich got Jackson’s contact information through the Clark County Social Service Department, says the article. In his quote, Goodrich says that it is the responsibility of all businesses to give back to those in need in the community. That is why his company decided to help Jackson.

They fixed her water line and put in a modern central air unit that would provide comfortable temperatures all year. I was surprised to see that if she had to pay for these services, she would have had to pay nearly $14,000. That is probably as much as what she made a year with her fixed income. Jackson says that Goettl Air Conditioning, Daikin-Goodman Global, and Sunny Plumber were a “Godsend”.

Gust and Adam Goettl started Goettl Air Conditioning in 1939. The company has been serving the Las Vegas area since 1968. They offer customers repair to residential heating and air conditioning. They also sell new units and maintain them. Their friendly and knowledgeable technicians are thoroughly screened and have continuous training in the HVAC industry.
